Warmly greetting by our guide at Tan Son Nhat airport and transfer you with a comfortable vehicle to the city center to check-in in your hotel. Time for you to recover after your long flight. You have the opportunity to get some first impressions of the city by yourself and of course our tour guide is always available at your request. You have a "welcome dinner” in a local restaurant and overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
Day 2. Ho Chi Minh city tour
We begin our trip to visit fine examples of French colonial architecture, the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office which is the symbol of semi-colonial architecture of the French occupation in Vietnam, Thien Hau Pagoda, Cho Lon, a lacquerware factory. After lunch, a long spa session being pampered Vietnam-style will help you to escape from the feeling of the effects of your flight. Dinner and attend a traditional wedding performance.
Day 3-8. Ho Chi Minh city - Nha Trang
Flight to Nha Trang to enjoy Nha Trang beach - a member of the "Best Beaches in the World” organisation, and deserves its listing. The beach is a long stretch of soft sand, mostly fringed with tamarisk and spruce trees providing adequate shade. Offshore there's an archipelago of small islands within easy reach of the mainland - some have good coral, making Nha Trang the premier location for scuba diving and snorkelling. Take a speedboat offshore to the VinPearl Resort on Hon Tre or "Ngoc Viet” - the largest island in Nha Trang bay is clearly visible with a 700m white coral sand beach, 230 large, well appointed rooms, most of which overlook the South China Sea. The largest resort swimming pool in Vietnam, a secluded freshwater pool, health centre, tennis courts, water sports and daily activity programmes, an international restaurant, a sea food restaurant and a snack bar, all will make you unlikely to get bored. If you like a change, speedboat shuttle returns will take you to the inland to try a late evening stroll along Tran Phu street. So romantic it is! Another five days in the VinPearl Resort.
Day 9. Nha Trang - Hanoi
Flight to Hanoi to discover the city of beautiful lakes, shaded boulevards, colonial architecture and countless interesting monuments, this city will impress you with its lively characters. We begin our city-trip at the Restored Sword Lake, famous of the legend of the tortoise and the sword of 15th, visit the Vietnam’s first university - Temple of Literature, discover the culture and the custom of 54 Vietnam ethnic minority shown in the Museum of Ethnology. Overview of the Old Quarters by an hour cyclo and together hand in hand to stroll around Hoan Kiem lake in the evening.
Day 10. Hanoi - Halong
After a Vietnamese style breakfast, we will take you to one of the natural wonders - Halong Bay, the Natural World Heritage Site recognized by the UNESCO and is worldwide known for its unique landscape endowed by wind and water. A traditional junk will lead you through numerous enchanting grottoes to enjoy the magical landscape of limestone islets, explore the most beautiful caves : Sung Sot - surprising cave and Me Cung. For lunch aboard, you will be served with fresh sea food dishes. A glass of Vietnamese wine for your sipping during your dinner. Overnight aboard after enjoying sunset on the Bay.
Day 11. Halong - Hanoi
Enjoy the breakfast aboard, take a great opportunity for swimming and sunbathing. Paddle along Luon cave and continue the trip to explore other parts of the Bay such as the Head Islet, the Tortoise Islet, Bai Tu Long Bay. We take a small boat to reach some fishing villages in the middle of Lan Ha bay to experience their floating life. We visit their floating schools and experience their floating mini-supermarkets! After this amazing experience, we have lunch aboard and arrange luggage for check-out. Get off the boat, we back to Hanoi. A candlelit dinner at a local restaurant to enjoy Vietnamese style dishes and traditional music performance during your meal. Spend a night at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 12. Hanoi - Departure
Free time for shopping before transfer to airport for your departure flight.
